BVM&S MRCVS
Dr Lillian Wong graduated with distinction from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh and has been a registered member of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2012. She spent some time volunteering in Thailand to treat stray dogs and cats prior to relocation to Hong Kong. Then she worked in a small animal and exotic pets clinic where she gained valuable experience with all types of species. Since then, she has developed an interest to animal welfare and emergency and critical care medicine. She worked for 7 years at the Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA HK), practising all aspects of medicine and surgery with high welfare standards and also helping stray animals in need. The heavy and varied caseload has allowed her to become proficient in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care medicine, cardiorespiratory medicine and ultrasonography.
She has completed postgraduate courses in abdominal ultrasonography, echocardiology, emergency and critical care, cardiorespiratory medicine, internal medicine and Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is now studying for a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.
